Fylde Sharks supporters, thank you Fundraising for Fylde Sharks

Why Do We Need Your Support?

Because The Children Need You

Wondering whether families benefit from coming to Fylde Sharks Disability Swimming Club? Don't take our word for it. Here's what our families say, in their own words...

  • Absolutely. For social interaction, and it promotes health and wellbeing for our child. It is fantastic.
  • Yes. We benefit with our daughter's increase in strength and mobility gained through swimming. Plus parents get 30 minutes time to themselves.
  • Yes. It is helping our son incredibly and it's not available anywhere else. He would not go swimming without this club.
  • Fylde Sharks gives my child an interest whilst improving his muscle tone. Every child deserves the right to be able to swim. Meeting other parents and carers is great too.
  • Yes our child loves swimming with Fylde Sharks and looks forward to his swimming lesson. Thank you, you all do a great job.
  • Because it is keeping our child out of a wheelchair.

Your support really does make a difference to so many peoples lives - thank you!

Our Supporters

We have received grants, donations and help from such wonderful people and organisations. It's you, our supporters, that enable Fylde Sharks to continue to provide these much needed one to one swimming lessons for children with disabilities across the Fylde Coast.

Fylde Sharks is a Sported funded project

Fylde Sharks have been funded by Sported, the leading UK sport for development charity, empowering community groups to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people through sport.

We've received a substantial grant from Sported to fund the cost of this website, training (in particular 4 new volunteer qualified teachers), marketing material and swimming equipment over the next 2 years.
